A Snapshot of your Day

As a Supplier Quality Manager within Siemens Energy's Controls and Digitalization (CD) business, you will play a key role in driving supplier quality initiatives, ensuring compliance, and encouraging strategic partnerships globally!

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Develop, initiate, and enforce supplier quality-related standards, guidelines, and programs, including supplier engagement processes and audit programs, tailored to the CD business globally.
  • Own the implementation of quality programs for major projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and compliance across global operations.
  • Provide mentorship to establish and optimize development agreements with suppliers, ensuring effective monitoring and improvement of supplier performance.
  • Propose and execute quality analyses, key performance indicators, and advanced methods and tools to drive continuous improvement.
  • Lead and coach supplier quality projects, focusing on standardizing processes and implementing digitalization initiatives within the CD domain.
  • Act as the global contact for supplier quality-related business needs, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration with internal teams, external partners, and the global supplier quality development function (SQD).

What You Bring

  • 8+ years of work experience in the procurement/quality management area.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in supply chain management, Engineering, or related field.
  • Cross-functional experience gained in technical functions in the energy industry or other industries.
  • Detailed commercial knowledge of procurement and/or quality management, and project management.
  • Experienced in working and guiding multinational and multicultural teams.
  • A high degree of problem-solving abilities and joined-up thinking, along with an analytical, pragmatic, hard-working mentality and persuasive power.
  • Advanced knowledge level of supplier quality development methods, tools, and processes.
  • Able to work independently, and have a strong sense of responsibility, confident appearance, as well as good communication skills, and constructive assertiveness.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Gas Services

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
