A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our dynamic team where you will take charge of supplier quality assurance for a range of electronic components and assemblies, including motors, transformers, and switchgears. Imagine leading the way in supplier qualification and development, quality inspections, and failure analysis by conducting root cause investigations and defining effective corrective actions. You will engage with cutting-edge AI-supported processes, collaborate with suppliers by conducting process audits and releasing initial sample inspection reports, ensuring the highest quality standards. Your role will also driving continuous improvement through data analysis and feedback from production.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Represent Siemens Energy in all quality-related matters with our suppliers.
- Act in cross-functional cooperation with Procurement, Logistics, Engineering, and Manufacturing within the location as part of the Supplier Quality & Development department.
- You will oversee supplier qualification and monitoring for electronic components and assemblies, ensuring top-notch standards.
- Conduct root cause analyses for deviations and process complaints, defining corrective actions to enhance product quality.
- Collaborate with suppliers by conducting process audits and managing initial sample inspection reports (PPAP/EMP).
- Drive continuous optimization of supplier quality processes.
What You Bring
- Completed vocational training in electrical engineering or possess a comparable qualification. Professional experience in quality management, manufacturing, or purchasing is an advantage.
- Knowledge and experience include the assembly and installation of electrical components, such as transformers and motors, with a strong understanding of their design and functionality.
- You are familiar with explosion protection and grounding standards (IEC EX) and have experience in planning and implementing switchgear and control cabinet construction.
- Skills in cabling and connecting electrical systems, considering copper and aluminum connections, cables, and busbars.
- Be familiar with international/national standards (ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001), technical documentation of materials in scope, quality assurance, and purchasing agreements, test, and inspection.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and various tools (SAP, Globus, PPTL) complements your teamwork skills, reliability, and ability to work independently.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, team player.
- Ability to manage priorities effectively, rigorous and organized .
- Willingness to travel (up to 25%), including oversea if necessary.
