A Snapshot of Your Day
As an experienced Structural Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering critical structural engineering activities that support the long-term success of projects within the Nacelles Hub and Generator Analysis team. This position is ideal for a motivated professional who is passionate about innovation and engineering excellence in wind energy applications.
We are looking for a skilled engineer to develop robust design and analysis solutions for wind turbine hubs and their internal components. In this role, you will apply advanced structural modelling, simulation, and problem-solving techniques to address complex engineering challenges.
You will take ownership of project deliverables, ensuring high quality and timely execution, while also contributing to continuous improvement and the development of team capabilities.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Drive technical solutions and reviews with internal design team and multiple sub-suppliers and solution providers
- Ensure time and quality in the deliveries to our development projects Task coordination and priorities, as well as task execution of key tasks
- Exposure to certification requirements for WTG components or similar
- Exposure to International standards on safety and mechanical design
- Align simulation activities and pass criteria with the design teams for each wind turbine platform to secure proper design and integration
- Exposure to software like MATLAB & Python
What you Bring
- Total experience of 6-10 years
- At least 3 years of relevant experience (e.g. Turbo machinery or Heavy Machinery)
- Hands on experience in the software "Ansys" is must.
- Both Workbench & APDL Experience in developing structural design for mechanical components
- Knowledge about the structural design of large castings, welded structures and forged components.
- Good understanding of HCF/LCF and fracture mechanics
- Experience In analytical calculations of bolted/welded constructions Experience in definition of contacts, Nonlinear analysis, Buckling Analysis
- Graduate/Postgraduate in Mechanical engineering

The Hub Analysis Team is a highly enthusiastic and specialized group of structural engineers dedicated to ensuring the performance and reliability of wind turbine hub systems. The team primarily focuses on evaluating the structural integrity of both onshore and offshore hubs, as well as their internal components, under various operational and environmental conditions.
Their core responsibilities include developing innovative structural solutions, performing detailed engineering analyses, and interpreting simulation and experimental results to support design improvements. The team plays a crucial role in testing and validation activities, ensuring that hub designs meet safety, durability, and performance requirements.
The team contributes significantly to enhancing the overall efficiency, reliability, and lifecycle performance of wind turbine systems.
