A Snapshot of your Day:

As the liaison for Siemens Energy’s critical Service Program customers, this role manages and implements Service Program Contracts in Central USA while advising on operational and maintenance solutions.

A self-motivated professional with power plant expertise will collaborate with Siemens Energy teams and customers to plan and implement outages, applying engineering skills and commercial awareness while driving a zero-harm safety culture.

As the Service Programs Project Manager (LTP Project Manager), this role works with internal teams and customers to plan, prioritize, and sell upgrades, including extra work and non-contract scope (e.g., Steam Turbine, Generator, and Digital). It also involves managing contract financials and presenting updates quarterly.

With the U.S. energy market transitioning, Siemens Energy’s high-efficiency gas turbines support decarbonization. As an LTP Project Manager, you play a key role in this transformation.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Provide Plant Flexibility Solutions to reduce fuel consumption, lower CO2 emissions, and improve grid responsiveness.
  • Offer hardware and software solutions to help LTP customers adapt to evolving flexibility requirements.
  • Support customers’ decarbonization goals by transitioning gas turbines and plants to natural gas-hydrogen blends.
  • Build and maintain strong customer and internal partnerships through accountability, communication, and trust.
  • Develop leadership skills by leading a team of Commercial Project Manager, Service Parts Representative, and Contracts Manager.
  • Improve organizational and commercial skills by managing long-term service program contracts and optimizing problem-solving techniques.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree or combination of high school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
  • 8+ years of combined project management and field service experience in Power Generation is required.
  • Must be able to deliver sophisticated and high value projects to multiple customers.
  • Experience in customer facing roles and ability to communicate clearly to senior management is a must.
  • Familiarity with rotating power generation equipment (501F & 9000HL Combustion Turbine preferred).
  • Selected candidate will be required to obtain IMPA certification within 18 months
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
