Join our team as a Service Engineer, bringing your expertise in design, engineering, commissioning, service, and maintenance of Control and other Siemens automation systems. Beyond the technical scope, you'll have the chance to build skills in sales and tendering support while taking on project leadership responsibilities a role designed to fast-track your career growth

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Perform service tasks independently, including installation, commissioning, upgrades, and routine maintenance
  • Carry out troubleshooting on-site or remotely to diagnose issues, determine resolutions, and implement corrective actions
  • Configure, test, and implement Cyber Security solutions within secure OT environments and networks for ultra-high availability systems
  • Coordinate and provide user training on supported systems
  • Participate in Root Cause Analysis and problem documentation, supporting Problem Management processes and methodologies
  • Contribute to customer satisfaction, quality management, and HS&E responsibilities, while working flexibly (including overtime when needed) both independently and within a team, with the ability to take on a leadership role

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Electrical, or Controls Engineering, or equivalent
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in controls, digitalization, or cyber security systems design, engineering, service, or maintenance
  • Knowledge and experience with PLC, SCADA, or DCS control systems, preferably with Siemens platforms such as PCS7 or Ominivse T3000
  • Good understanding of cyber security solutions, including configuring, installing, testing, and upgrading industrial control networks, firewalls, routers, and VPN remote access
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial communication protocols for third-party interfaces (OPC, Modbus, or DNP3.0)
  • Full working rights in Australia, with willingness to travel for site-based projects across Australia, New Zealand, and Asia Pacific, and openness to occasional after-hours support as part of a rotational arrangement

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
