A Snapshot of Your Day
This position will be in the Global Business Unit Controlling team of the Compression Business (Transformation of Industry Business Area), reporting to the Global Head of Business Unit Controlling. We are seeking an experienced controlling professional who will complete budget planning, financial planning, actual-versus-plan-analysis, benchmarking, forecasting and reporting activities for the unit management as well as the management team of the Service Region Middle East and Asia Pacific !
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support management in financial planning and calculating yearly budgets and midterm plans
- Conduct monthly reporting, forecasting as well as actual vs. plan and vs. forecast analyses and supervise agreed measures / action items
- Creates regular business reports with respect to overall performance and relevant key lines and recommends actions to accountable management
- Prepare monthly and quarterly business review presentations to be reviewed with the Business Area management
- Carry out ad-hoc analyses and special requests and chip in to conceptual and project work related to controlling
- Develop and drive forward the digitalization in the financial controlling and reporting environment of the Compression business
What You Bring
- Minimum master’s degree or equivalent experience in finance or a related field
- Strong Controlling (and Finance) background with more than 8-10 years of professional experience with a high level of Data Analytics skills
- Minimal travel required for this position
- Familiarity with Finance processes (e.g. financial closing, reporting, budgeting, forecasting) and systems (e.g. SAP applications, Power BI, Tableau, SAP Analytics Cloud, Alteryx)
- Solid knowledge regarding project and service business, project management and corresponding accounting (e.g. Percentage of Completion, Completed Contract)
- Flexibility to work in different time zones with Global collaborators
