A Snapshot of Your Day:

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated SOAR Engineer to join our OT Security Operations Center (SOC) in Brande. As a SOAR Engineer, you will work closely with our cybersecurity teams to improve the automation and orchestration of security processes, ensuring the protection of wind power assets for our global customers.

How You’ll Make an Impact:

We are a dedicated, diverse, and highly skilled team of cybersecurity specialists focused on securing Operational Technology (OT) environments for Siemens Gamesa’s wind power customers worldwide. In the OT SOC, you will:

Design, develop, and implement Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) solutions to streamline incident detection, response, and remediation processes.

Automate repetitive SOC tasks, integrate cybersecurity tools, and optimize workflows to enhance the efficiency, speed, and scalability of security operations.

Collaborate with the OT SOC team to support monitoring and management of SIEM, endpoint protection, and other cybersecurity systems, ensuring rapid identification and mitigation of threats to customer wind farm assets.

Respond to and manage cybersecurity incidents in OT environments, leveraging SOAR platforms to coordinate actions and minimize impact.

Define requirements for the OT SOC Engineering team to improve SOAR capabilities, enabling faster and more effective threat response.

Work with innovative technologies and global cybersecurity experts to protect critical infrastructure, contributing to Siemens Gamesa’s mission of securing renewable energy assets.

What You Bring:

Passion for safe guarding our renewable energy sources and a commitment to driving the transition to sustainable energy solutions.

An academic degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or a related field, combined with at least one relevant cybersecurity certification (e.g., CCNA Security, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent).

Proven experience in:

Developing and implementing SOAR solutions (e.g., Splunk SOAR, Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR, or similar platforms).

Supporting complex network infrastructure and architecture in OT environments.

Working with SCADA systems and understanding OT-specific cybersecurity challenges.

Ensuring compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulations (e.g., IEC 62443, NIST, or similar).

Strong scripting and automation skills (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or similar) to build and maintain SOAR playbooks and integrations.

Ability to analyze complex cybersecurity incidents, apply critical thinking, and coordinate with global teams to resolve issues effectively.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with internal and external stakeholders in a multicultural, gender-diverse environment and adapt to varying levels of technical understanding.

A proactive, result-oriented, and customer-focused approach, with a desire to continuously develop your skills and stay updated on emerging cyber threats.

If you have gained your expertise through alternative pathways, such as hands-on experience or self-directed learning, your application is equally welcome.
