A Snapshot of Your Day
As an SAP Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting our procurement, operations, and planning business teams at our new Power Transformer factory in Charlotte, North Carolina. We are seeking diligent and methodical individuals executing the Master data responsibilities of SAP S/4HANA system, as well as other tasks such as ECN execution, extending parts into plant views, MBOM creation, and more.
This role will be based at our new Power Transformer factory in Charlotte, North Carolina and will initially coincide with the factory’s construction. During this phase, we will focus on developing our processes, refining our offerings, and collaborating closely with a high-performance team. This will involve all aspects of the commercial setup to ensure we are well-prepared to meet the needs of our customers effectively when factory operations start.

How You’ll Make an Impact
- Enter and update material data in SAP, including project dates and ECN management, according to established procedures.
- Perform periodic manual interventions for MRP runs (background jobs) in SAP as needed to ensure data accuracy.
- Create manual purchase requisitions (PRs) in SAP for operational procurement, following standard processes.
- Collaborate with various departments to extend parts to plant views in SAP, supporting cross-functional visibility.
- Attach manufacturing bills of materials (MBoMs) to projects and update production versions as directed (excluding MM, EBOM, and documentation creation).
- Communicate with team members in Procurement, Planning, and Operations to resolve data discrepancies and ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business/related field preferred or high school diploma/GED and equivalent experience.
- 2+ years’ experience in Data Management, Order Execution, Material Management, or other relevant areas.
- Proficiency using enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems for material management preferred. SAP Material Management system experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
- Ability to work in a complex, fast-changing global organizational environment
- Candidates must be willing to relocate to Charlotte, NC, if they are not already based in the area.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
