Root Cause Analysis Engineer
As a lead for RCA / technical failure investigation for GT, GN, ST topics (primary focus is on GT components) you will managing one or more technical failure investigation – from identification to conclusion and mitigation / solution development.
A typical day might look like this:
Work on assigned Root Cause investigation - coordinate cross functional investigation teams, e.g.: fact finder, component design, thermodynamics, lab, materials, experts, etc., derive conclusions in alignment with the investigation team and experts. Perform review, create RCA presentation and report. Present investigation status, results to management and customers.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead RCA – collaborate with your team members
- Derive most probable root cause(s)
- Elaborate recommendations for mitigation / solution
- Reduce NCC’s and help improve financials
- Technical presentations to the customers, significantly improve customer satisfaction
What You Bring
- Engineering graduate/postgraduate degree preferably in Mechanical/ Industrial/ Aerospace
- Basic understanding of gas turbines, turbo machinery, or power generation preferred
- Basic knowledge of metallic materials and mechanical integrity preferred
- Ability to structure and analyze, motivation and persistence
- Proficiency in technical writing and conducting formal presentations
