A Snapshot of Your Day

This role aims to ensure business continuity within the Field Service Onshore. It provides resource planning for Central Staffing Hubs and maintains service delivery by effectively managing the allocation of field service personnel. To meet these operational demands, this role is structured around three core functions: operational resource planning and scheduling, stakeholder coordination, and performance reporting. This focus ensures that field service engineers are deployed efficiently, project timelines are met, and communication is maintained between the central staffing hub and regional teams. Given the focus on complex scheduling and coordination, the ideal candidate will possess significant experience in resource planning within a technical or industrial service environment. They must demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, proficiency with scheduling software, and the capacity to work independently to manage competing priorities.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Field Service Resource Planning & Scheduling
  • Plan, schedule, and dispatch field service engineers for maintenance, installation, and commissioning activities, primarily for Italy and Spain.
  • Manage and optimize the allocation of technical resources based on skill sets, availability, location, and project priority.
  • Proactively identify and resolve complex scheduling conflicts, resource shortages, and potential service delivery risks.
  • Develop and maintain short-term and long-term resource forecasts to align with business demand and project pipelines.

Stakeholder Coordination & Communication
  • Serve as the primary liaison for resource requests from project managers, service line managers, and regional country organizations.
  • Collaborate with third-party contractors to ensure the seamless integration of external resources into project plans.
  • Communicate schedule confirmations, changes, and potential impacts to all relevant stakeholders in a clear and timely manner.

Coach and review the work of lower-level professionals on resource planning processes and best practices.
  • Performance Monitoring & Process Improvement
  • Prepare and distribute regular reports on resource utilization, project fulfillment rates, and other key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Analyze scheduling data and workflows to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for process optimization.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of planning tools, systems, and standard operating procedures.
  • Assist in establishing and tracking project performance metrics to measure scheduling effectiveness and service quality.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in resource planning, project scheduling, or a similar operational coordination role.
  • Experience in a technical, industrial, or field service environment is highly desirable.
