A Snapshot of Your Day:
As a Regional Business Controller in the Steam Turbines & Generators unit, you will engage with a diverse team of finance professionals, tackling meaningful projects that drive the decarbonization of industrial processes. Your analytical skills will be pivotal in preparing budgets, forecasts, and reports that influence key business decisions, ultimately contributing to Siemens Energy’s mission of transforming the industry. How You’ll Make an Impact:
- Prepare the annual budget and monthly forecasts.
- Analyze key figures and comment on deviations from plans or forecasts.
- Support monthly closing activities for assigned regional entities.
- Conduct cost center controlling through plan/actual deviations analysis.
- Drive the optimization of reporting and performance controlling through digitization initiatives.
- Collect and prepare data to analyze regional financial value flows.
What You Bring:
- University degree in Finance, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Finance or Controlling.
- Proficient in Excel, SAP, Tableau, EPM+, and DASH tools.
- Experience in digitizing controlling processes and familiarity with tools like Alteryx or UIPath.
- Business fluent in English with strong analytical skills in financial KPIs.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
