As an Operational Purchaser in Grid Solutions Procurement team, you will have an established role in an international work environment for coordination with Project Managers, Finance Teams, Suppliers, and other partners to ensure the timely delivery of materials and services. Your role is pivotal in ensuring smooth execution of Purchase-to-pay process and contributing to the overall success of Siemens Energy Denmark

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Create and process purchase orders in line with project requirements.
• Monitor orders to ensure timely delivery and resolve issues related to delays and shortages.
• Develop procurement schedules aligned with project timelines.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including Project Managers, Engineers, Finance Teams and Site Managers to align procurement activities with project needs.
• Provide regular updates on procurement status and potential risks to project stakeholders.
• Contribute to the enhancement of procurement systems, ensuring they align with business needs.'

What You Bring

• Proven experience (3+ years) in Operational Purchasing, preferably within a project-based environment.
• Strong communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools (e.g., SAP, MDG or equivalent).
• Solid understanding of supply chain processes and project management principles.
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
