We're seeking an experienced Project Procurement Manager to lead strategic sourcing, contract management, and supplier partnerships for Siemens Energy's Compression business, supporting offshore projects across the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions. The ideal candidate brings project procurement expertise in the energy sector, advanced negotiation skills, and a background in engineering or business.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Develop project-specific procurement strategies, analyze market opportunities and risks, and support bid preparation with Total Cost of Ownership analysis.
• Champion supplier innovation initiatives to enhance cost position and deliver customer value.
• Lead supplier negotiations on terms, pricing, and conditions. Draft and manage contracts covering procurement risks and customer obligations.
• Oversee procurement activities throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring quality, timelines, and budget compliance using SAP and company standards.
• Manage the preferred supplier list and coordinate supplier qualification, evaluation, and development activities.
• Serve as the primary procurement representative, liaising with Project Management, Engineering, and Sales while reporting on procurement status and deviations.
  
  

What You'll Bring

• Education & Certifications — Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent professional experience). CPCM or CPSM certification preferred.
• Experience — Minimum 5 years in project procurement, strategic sourcing, or contract management within Oil & Gas, Power Generation, or industrial equipment sectors.
• International Project Expertise — Demonstrated experience in international project environments with proven ability to manage complex negotiations and supplier relationships.
• Procurement & Contract Management — Strong capabilities in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, supplier performance management, and risk mitigation.
• Strategic & Analytical Skills — Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with financial acumen to support decision-making and cost optimization.
• Technical & Leadership Competencies — Proficiency with SAP systems, program management experience, and proven influencing and negotiation skills to drive stakeholder alignment.
