A Snapshot of Your Day
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Project Planning Coordinator to support our project management team. This role involves entering and maintaining project schedules in Microsoft Project, based on input from project managers and engineers. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising project progress, identifying deviations, and reporting performance metrics and critical issues to management!
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Build and maintain detailed project timeline in Microsoft Project based on input from technical and management teams.
- Update project timelines, landmarks, and resource allocations regularly.
- Monitor project progress and performance against baseline plans.
- Identify and flag schedule deviations, delays, and critical path issues.
- Generate regular status reports and dashboards for project collaborators.
- Coordinate with engineers, team leads, and project managers to gather updates and ensure schedule accuracy.
- Support risk and issue tracking related to project timelines.
- Assist in preparing presentations and documentation for project reviews.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in project coordination or planning, preferably in a technical or engineering environment, project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, PRINCE2, Agile) is a plus
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Experience with project reporting tools or dashboards (e.g., Power BI, Excel pivot tables) could be beneficial, knowledge of Earned Value Management (EVM) or similar performance tracking methods.
