We are looking for an experienced, entrepreneurial and self-motivated Project Manager to be part of Siemens Energy Europe & Africa team. preneurial and self-motivated Project Manager to be part of Siemens Energy Europe & Africa team. The Project Manager's mission is to facilitate and ensure the success of projects, with a focus on the preparation and execution of maintenance for large rotating equipment in Power Plants. The daily work routine is very varied due to regular communication and coordination with different departments, e.g. project management, project execution, engineering, assembly and tools, both in a regional and international context. We work to innovate and reinvent through technology services promoting the success of business and people, to provide clients with outstanding experts and specialists to make business thrive, and we are focused on people and their wellbeing promoting a strong cultural footprint. 


How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Management of sub-projects focused on executing service contracts for large rotating equipment in Power Plants
  • You will acquire a broad knowledge of project management and technology - on the job and through additional trainings
  • You will strengthen your network and participate in the transformation of our project portfolio


What You Bring 

  • Successfully completed university degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or process engineering or several years of professional experience in the field of energy business.
  • +2 years of professional experience as a project manager/project assistant, also in cooperation with international project teams.
  • Good knowledge of Siemens-Energy and service-specific processes, strategies, tools and IT systems
  • Good knowledge of the market environment and/or customers and competitors, health, safety and environmental protection as well as comprehensive knowledge of team development and motivation
  • Confident in the use of MS Office,
  • IPMA certification is an advantage
  • Fluent in written and spoken in English; knowledge of German, French or Spanish is an advantage
  • Excellent customer relationship skills
  • Autonomy, creativity and initiative
  • Commitment to promoting the success of others
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and multiple stakeholder relationships
  • Open minded willing to give and to receive constructive feedback
  • Entrepreneurial by nature, teamwork and communication skills, negotiation skills, decision-making, problem-solving and assertiveness skills, positive attitude as well as a sense of purpose complement your profile
