A Snapshot of Your Day:

You will work closely with a diverse team across business units, including various factories and across functions to ensure smooth and timely deliveries for our transmission products.

How you Will Make an Impact:

• Successful delivery of a wide range of transmission products, based on technical requirements, including Power & Distribution Transformers, High Voltage Circuit Breakers, Surge Arrestors on time, to quality and within budget, ensuring the Company revenue and profit expectations are increased.
• Collaborate with overseas factories and local service teams from Order through delivery up to handover in accordance with the client schedule and quality requirements and always ensuring strict adherence to client and Siemens Energy EHS requirements.
• Creating and maintaining project schedules, supervising progress against turning points and adjusting schedules as necessary to keep the project on track
• Responsible for technical documents and certifications management within projects.
• Working with finance and commercial team on a regular basis to ensure accurate reporting of financial/ commercial metrics.
• Maintain customer relationships to achieve long-term customer retention, satisfaction and growth potential.
• Identifying customer requirements beyond the agreed project scope to increase the business benefit from the project.
• Ensuring all potential opportunities, variations and risks are identified and reported to the Business as soon as possible.
• Use and make available to others knowledge assets to optimize the proposed solution and project costs.

What you Bring:

• Experience in a project engineering or contract management function ideally within the electrical transmission and distribution industry
• Proven experience in Project Management and good track record of risk management, communication management and process improvement
• Awareness of commercial and contractual issues
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations, Current H&S legislation, Risk Management processes
• A flexible mentality, good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to demonstrate leadership skills and proven track record of collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams, across the globe
• Experience in using MS Office, including MS Project.
