You have assembled a skilled team and work towards developing creative, robust, reliable and cost-effective design solutions to address the challenge of achieving component producibility. The environment is dynamic, fast paced, challenging, and motivating.

You are entrusted with meeting suppliers to understand constraints, working with your team to propose how definitions can be constructed to enable manufacturing approaches that meet supplier expectations as well as essential product characteristics. You have led your team to a stage where their concepts are verified against product requirements using structured verification and risk management processes, within the framework of our product development process.

You and your team are an integral part in achieving the company’s product strategies, namely providing component manufacturing approaches for our aeroderivative gas turbine product designs that are reliable and responding to the world’s ever-changing energy demands

How You’ll Make an Impact

• You will control an engineering team and support resources using a visual management system to deliver work on schedule, cost and quality while handling conflicts as they arise
• You will assist project managers in planning work, support them through project execution and deliver definitions achieving high degrees of conformity
• You will meet with component suppliers to understand how we can jointly succeed
• You will ensure process compliance of the work in your team and approve the work outputs
• You will guide your team through the product development process
• You will assist with technical problem solving within your design team
• Where needed you will seek out opportunities for improvement and lead activities to implement them into working practices within the engineering discipline

What You Bring

• You have a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related subject
• You have the legal right to work in Mexico
• You are motivated by the leadership of a team in creating component manufacturing solutions
• You have at least 10 years experience in a gas turbine design team discipline, including experience of working with manufacturing to reduce cost and lead time through design activity
• You are fluent in both Spanish and English

About the Team

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonisation opportunities through service offerings, modernisation, and digitalisation of the fleet.
