A Snapshot of Your Day
The Procurement Consultant fuels Procurement Transformation and Optimization Initiatives by advising and co-developing suitable strategies to address current as well as future challenges, and by putting strategy into action.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Advises and supports the Procurement Leadership Team, Business Partners and Business Areas on organizational development related challenges and opportunities
- Uses appropriate methods, tools and frameworks to build value and develop customized procurement solutions with internal and external partners
- Proposes and promote further projects / initiatives that help the Procurement Organization to grow in maturity
- Develops strategies how to continuously improve the function performance
- Brings in expertise to design the future setup of the Siemens Energy Procurement Function
- Uses the overall procurement strategy to develop a suitable CoE strategy
- Drives programs, projects and selected critical initiatives by supporting or driving respective project roles
- Takes a comprehensive view to evaluate the strategic impact and progress of programs, projects and initiatives with top management
- Works in various cross-functional teams to drive procurement solutions for the future
What You Bring
- Master’s degree or equivalent in organizational development, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or similar
- Professional experience in the corporate environment, preferably in consultancy services
- Experience in corporate environment as well as understanding of agile processes, development of concepts and analysis of business requirements, preferably Procurement or Supply Chain Management experience
- Experience in international projects and openness to other cultures is required
- Strong communication skills in English, additional languages (e.g. German) preferred
