AGT Power Turbine team is a design team responsible for complete ‘cradle to grave’ ownership of power turbines coupled with Aeroderivative Gas Generators. This role will contribute to the area of overall Turbine design and architecture of hot section of rotating machinery. The Power Turbine Design Engineer will have opportunities to develop into a holistic Power Turbine engineer while leading complex turbine design work with support from a team of individuals with different skills across varying disciplines and across multiple locations/countries.

How You will Make an Impact

• Complete Computer Aided Design and Modeling of Turbine Components and Assemblies.
• Support the development, testing and validation of new Power Turbine designs coupled to an Aeroderivative Gas Generator.
• Lead integrated product development teams to develop turbine design solutions while managing interfaces with other gas turbine components and systems and interface with auxiliary system.
• Provide In-Service, Manufacturing and Procurement Support.

What You Bring

• Bachelors in mechanical or aerospace engineering; 3+ years of experience in Turbomachinery Design (or combined equivalent of education/work experience).
• Working knowledge and experience in using CAD design software.
• Experience in using GD and T methodology as applicable to design rotating equipment is highly desirable.
• Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
