A Snapshot of Your Day

We are looking for a Sub Regional Payroll Analyst to demonstrate knowledge of processes and related systems in order to effectively resolve issues related to payroll; audit input data entry for accuracy and report needed corrections, and be responsible for payroll process and reports from payroll vendor. This position will be primary contact at an operational level with payroll vendors and internal clients.

You will be covering payroll service for the sub-region of southern Europe, which includes Croatia, Slovenia, and Montenegro.

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

In this role you will be working within a global and diverse team of specialists with an open mentality, responsible for ensuring Siemens Energy payroll is compliant, accurate, timely and fit-for-purpose, with a clear governance & risk management approach, shaping the relationship with our Payroll vendors and working closely with our HR Services team to safeguard end-to-end delivery while promoting Siemens Energy digital transformation. You will get all the trust and empowerment to be successful and play a key role in the payroll transformation in the region and support the Regional Payroll Manager with service, owning the relationship with external partners and payroll providers engaged in this transformation and payroll operations.

  • Verify and control payroll services and processes to ensure timely and accurate process aligned with legislation.
  • Own the payroll input to output received from an external vendor.
  • Verify documentation/ declarations and reports required by various authorities and institutions.
  • Adhere to time sensitive tasks as defined by work regulations and labor law, coordinate with external payroll vendor at operational level to timely and accurately deliver payroll to employees.
  • Be responsible for payroll procedures and records and lead regular audits, implement procedures to streamline payroll processes.
  • Identify, create and implement process improvements as it relates to the administration of payroll management.
  • Create reports and forecasts for senior management.
  • Handle customer issues from internal client’s inquiries concerning payroll, and answer employees’ questions about salaries and tax.
  • Perform all internal controls on payroll data on monthly basis.

 

What You Bring

  • Proven experience in Croatian Payroll and HR Operations is a must, including vendor management, experience with payroll in other countries advantageous
  • High level of affinity to and experience with Payroll solutions
  • Excellent in-depth analytical skills and diligent work style
  • International mind-set; experience working in a varied team
  • Excellent knowledge of MS-Office applications
  • Ability to interact with many partners e.g., in HR Centers of Competence and HR in the Regions, IT department, Finance department, management
  • Ability to work individually as well as part of a team, leading through building trust and empowering teams to deliver successfully
  • Very good command of Croatian and English is a must
