A Snapshot of Your Day
A typical day in Marketing Communications starts with aligning on campaign strategy with Product Owners. You then review and finalize marketing materials for an upcoming digital campaign supporting sales in the regions. Once approved, you launch targeted ads, optimize landing pages, and schedule social media posts to maximize engagement. Throughout the campaign, you monitor KPIs, make quick adjustments to tactics and creatives, and prepare performance reports for bi-weekly stakeholder reviews. Collaboration is key, you join cross-functional meetings with Sales, Corporate Communications, and Marketing Operations to ensure messaging aligns with overall business objectives.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Collaborate with departments like Regional Sales and Product Owners to identify business objectives and develop targeted marketing strategies.
- Implement integrated marketing communication plans that contribute to lead generation and track their effectiveness using pre-defined KPIs.
- Create and maintain marketing materials for various channels, including the Siemens Energy website, social media, digital ads, newsletters, and email campaigns.
- Work with Corporate Communications to ensure cohesive messaging and adherence to branding guidelines across all marketing materials.
- Partner with outside agencies to produce high-quality marketing assets, such as reference videos, white papers and infographics that engage target audiences.
- Facilitate webinars, including planning, content development, promotion, technical setup, and performance analysis.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or a related field, with at least 3 years of relevant work experience in the energy industry.
- Deep understanding of the power generation industry, including global market trends and the regulatory landscape affecting power production and consumption.
- Proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Manager, and DemandBase.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, along with strong editing capabilities.
- Proficient in digital marketing metrics, with the ability to translate campaign KPIs into actionable insights.
- Strong teamwork skills, flexibility to adapt to changing priorities, and the ability to manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines under time pressure.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
