The Heavy Lift Technician supports the planning, preparation, and delivery of complex lifting and rigging activities involving turbine main components. The role focuses on ensuring lifting operations are performed efficiently and in line with company procedures, industry best practices, and applicable regulations, while contributing to a safe and well-coordinated work environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact  

• Plan and support lifting operations using cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment.
• Review lifting plans, load charts, and drawings to ensure alignment with site requirements.
• Inspect lifting gear to confirm suitability, certification, and general condition.
• Assist with rigging and de-rigging activities in line with approved procedures.
• Coordinate with operators, supervisors, and team members to maintain smooth and safe operations.
• Participate in risk assessments, toolbox talks, and provide guidance to junior technicians.

What You Bring  

• Technical background in mechanical, rigging, or lifting-related disciplines.
• Several years of experience supporting heavy lifting activities across industrial or construction environments.
• Working knowledge of lifting equipment, basic load calculations, and center of gravity concepts.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and lifting plans.
• Physically capable of working in challenging conditions, including work at height.
• Good communication skills with a collaborative, safety-conscious approach.
