A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Controls & Digitalization Cyber Security Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the security and integrity of our control systems and digital solutions in the energy sector. You will work closely with clients to assess their cyber security needs, implement security measures, and provide ongoing support and training. Your expertise will help safeguard critical infrastructure against cyber threats while enhancing operational efficiency. Also, you will be responsible for carrying out cybersecurity assessments, reviews, consultation, and recommendations of cybersecurity standards with focus on NERC-CIP requirements!
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support projects with secure design and engineering guidance to ensure secure and compliant systems for security services
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver excellent customer experience
- Use, manage, and maintain OT/ICS SIEM including data collection, data normalization, visualization, and detection
- Provide technical analysis and guidance on control systems security trends
- Assist Procurement on hardware/license requirements needed to support Cyber portfolio. Documentation and white papers on NERC CIP standards and their impact on Siemens DCS and cyber solutions
- Configure, test, and support cyber solutions for control system in a Factory setting and onsite as needed. Back Office security evaluations, including generating reports to deliver to Customer

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field, or equivalent experience in related fields.
- 3+ years of related experience in the power generation or other industry.
- Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or similar.
- Experience with Siemens Energy products and solutions.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to cyber security in the energy sector.
- Familiarity with Siemens Energy control systems (Omnivise-T3000) is a major plus.
