A Snapshot of Your Day
As an IP Paralegal with a high degree of responsibility and accountability, you will be handling paralegal topics of the IP department.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support IP Counsels/patent professionals in the filings, prosecution, appeals, and oppositions of patent applications and trademarks and filings & prosecution of copyrights (e.g., software copyrights).
- Handle docketing workflows including monitoring and following up of internal and external deadlines, and also prepare documents to support patent, oppositions, and appeal proceedings.
- Provide management assistance, including typical administrative tasks (e.g., for travel, management meetings, central leadership team tasks).
- Create and manage communication materials for internal and external audiences, including messaging related to IP.
- Support the leadership team in the creation of PowerPoint presentations.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, manage calendars for the leadership team and assist in the preparation and distribution of internal reports and communications.
- University degree in legal, business administration, or technical studies, or an apprenticeship/work experience.
- Excellent communication skills in business fluent English for communicating with IP Counsels, IP Professionals, and Paralegals.
- Result-oriented and proactive team player with an accuracy focus, and the ability to prioritize activities and to meet deadlines with highest quality.
- Comfortable using software tools (e.g., IP docketing system) and MS Office.
