Omnivise T3000 is one of the leading control systems in the energy market. As Siemens Energy own control system it plays an important role in the global energy transition. Product Management is the function responsible for defining desirable, viable, feasible, and sustainable solutions that meet customer needs and supporting development across the product life cycle. Your main tasks as Chief Product Manager within the control system Omnivise T3000 in a multinational team, is being responsible for Omnivise T3000 with the ability to design the control system that will support the energy transition by exploring and gathering qualitative and quantitative insights about market dynamics, user preferences and customer requirements. These insights define both business strategy and technical strategy and produce the feature backlog. 

How You’ll Make an Impact 
  • Define product and innovation strategy for Omnivise T3000 based on market requirements and related portfolio vision
  • Steering a team of product managers for the various sub products of Omnivise T3000
  • Disciplinary lead of a team of product managers, product owners and commercialization experts.
  • Represents the customer and stakeholder requirements, and is responsible for the related product roadmap, commercialization, including communication for marketing and sales rollout
  • Coordination of multiple requirements by ranking and alignment of activities along the defined development process
  • Coordination across agile teams together with other Product Managers and with Product Owners of the development teams
  • Leading Siemens Energy’s Plant Automation Technology roadmap and alignment with relevant stakeholders

What You Bring
  • Experienced strategic thinker with more than 10 years of overall experience and goof business acumen.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Product Management (or associated fields) with proven track record. Strong understanding of the Product Lifecycle Management process incl. quality attributes (usability, security, safety, …), as well as regulatory and legal aspects
  • Tracked communication and leadership skills to align with multinational stakeholders and to plan and coordinate multiple team activities. Disciplinary leadership experience is a benefit.
  • Deep understanding of modern energy control systems like Omnivise T3000 incl. DCS, PLC, SCADA & Substation automation as well as the respective customer processes and value
  • Experience with agile working methods like Scrum, SAFe or others
  • Professional written and verbal communication skills in English, German is a benefit

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
