A Snapshot of Your Day

Build and develop a dedicated Bid Management Team, focusing on gas turbine mechanical drive compressor (GTC) opportunities. Together with Sales and in close cooperation with our compression colleagues, this team will be responsible for developing opportunities in an early phase, sizing and selecting compressors and positioning our products and concepts. You will follow the opportunities from this early phase until handover to execution, while leveraging from the capabilities of neighboring Bid Management Teams preparing firm bids.   

 

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Early positioning work, from a technical perspective and across all product lines
  • Give technical presentations to our customers.
  • Prepare budget bids, technically & to some extent commercially.
  • Monitor & guide firm bid preparation work, ensuring smooth cooperation between involved Bid Management Teams
  • From a management position, engage in technical & commercial clarifications with our customers.
  • Monitor & guide handovers of won orders to project execution.
  • Cross-org collaboration and close partnership with the global O&G sales team.

 

What You Bring

  • Bachelor of Engineering or similar required. Master’s degree preferred.
  • A combination of 10+ years of experience in the oil & gas industry, management experience, and deep understanding of compressors & gas turbine driven compressor applications is required.
  • Excellent communication skills in English are a must.
  • Possess extensive sales and/or project execution experience.
  • Thinks holistically & understand the big picture, possess vigorous drive, and have a collaborative approach.
  • Prior or current experience with Siemens Energy products, processes, and customers is preferred.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
