A Snapshot of Your Day

You start the day by reviewing portfolio-level progress across substation and grid monitoring products, gaining an overview of roadmap delivery, key risks, and interdependencies across regions and asset classes.

You meet with Product Managers to review product roadmaps, customer priorities, and execution status, ensuring alignment with the overall portfolio direction and business objectives. You work with R&D and engineering leaders to address major technical or capacity constraints and to ensure investments are focused on the most strategic initiatives.

In the afternoon, you focus on portfolio planning and steering: shaping the integrated portfolio roadmap, prioritizing initiatives across products, making investment trade-offs, and aligning with regional, commercial, and service organizations. You end the day advancing the long-term portfolio strategy for how Siemens Energy enables smarter, more resilient grid operations through monitoring, analytics, and digitalization.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Lead the Substation & Grid Monitoring portfolio, defining and owning the portfolio strategy and roadmap across asset classes, while driving prioritization and strategic trade offs to maximize customer value and business impact.
  • Govern product strategy and roadmaps, providing oversight and challenge to ensure alignment with portfolio priorities, business objectives, and coherent execution across all products.
  • Own the Health & Analytics Center (HAC) portfolio vision, setting strategic objectives, investment focus, and success criteria, while ensuring consistent translation into end to end product strategies and roadmaps.
  • Shape the Digital Substation portfolio direction, defining priorities across monitoring, protection, control, and analytics, and ensuring cross product and cross unit alignment at portfolio level.
  • Drive portfolio integration and cross functional alignment, resolving prioritization and dependency conflicts, setting portfolio guardrails, and ensuring clarity across regions, product lines, and adjacent portfolios.
  • Hold portfolio level financial and organizational accountability, including R&D, CAPEX and OPEX planning, budget allocation, leadership and development of Product Management and Engineering functions, and external representation with customers, partners, and industry forums.

What You Bring
