A Snapshot of Your Day

In this highly visible and dynamic role, you will lead offering and project management activities for our Grid Technologies (GT) Substation business in Egypt. Together with your team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the GT SU strategy and action plan in the country while driving continuous improvements in operations. Additionally, you will foster collaboration with other regions and functions, actively contribute to GT’s 10/10+ growth strategy, and make GT SU a value creator for the Business Area by adding substantial value to customers.

You will be an integral part of the regional GT SU Middle East Project and Offer Management team. This role requires strong collaboration, communication, and stakeholder management skills to successfully lead the project and offer management team in Egypt. You will work with a talented team of professionals who are eager to collaborate, grow, and perform together in a supportive and multicultural environment.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Develop and implement project management processes for GT SU to ensure consistent success in Egypt.
• Accurate forecast revenue within GT SU’s running projects.
• Cultivate and monitor essential skill sets in project and offer management, ensuring team members maintain up-to-date skills.
• Align value propositions with customer needs and market trends by collaborating proactively with GT Sales to achieve success.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability within the GT SU team in Egypt.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders to meet targeted KPIs and identify growth opportunities in substation business.
• Uphold safety and integrity standards by supporting the Zero Harm program, ensuring compliance, and effectively collaborating with the Field Service team while leveraging AI to enhance efficiency and optimize time management.

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field of technology.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Grid Transmission and Distribution segment, with strong skills in contract negotiation and client relationship management.
• At least 3-4 years of leadership experience managing highly skilled, multicultural professionals in project execution, offer management, and/or field services.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building networks, developing people, and fostering a positive organizational culture, combined with a proactive, innovative, and teamwork-oriented mindset.
• Commitment to consistently meet and exceed objectives while taking ownership of complex challenges.
• Fluency in Arabic and English, with proficiency in other regional languages considered a plus; IPMA/PMP certification is preferable.
