A Snapshot of Your Day

This replacement position for a Head of CRM Analytics has been requested to support Siemens Energy's strategic initiative to scale digital platforms, data governance, and AI-enabled solutions. The role is central to translating these capabilities into measurable business value within the customer domain, aiming to improve operational performance and customer experience. To achieve these aims, the role is structured around three core pillars: strategic leadership and team development, the delivery of advanced analytics and AI solutions, and the establishment of robust governance and value-tracking frameworks. This approach ensures that the team not only produces insights but also drives adoption and tangible business outcomes. Given the focus on leadership and technical delivery, the ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in CRM analytics, data product leadership, and managing global teams. A strong background in modern BI platforms, data modeling, and applying AI use cases in an enterprise setting is essential, complemented by proven stakeholder management and strategic planning skills.

How You’ll Make an Impact

40% Analytics & AI Solution Delivery

  • Translate business requirements into reusable data products, dashboards, scorecards, and advanced analytics solutions.
  • Deliver actionable insights across sales, projects, service, and marketing by combining descriptive, predictive, and AI-driven analytics.
  • Identify, prioritize, and scale AI use cases that improve productivity, forecasting, and personalization using approved enterprise platforms.
  • Partner with CRM platform teams and enterprise data teams to ensure seamless integration of customer data across the digital landscape.

30% Strategy & Team Leadership

  • Define and execute the CRM Analytics strategy and roadmap in alignment with business priorities and the digital & AI strategy.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing global team of analytics engineers, BI developers, and data analysts.
  • Establish and manage a scalable analytics operating model that balances self-service capabilities with proactive, embedded insights.
  • Foster a strong learning culture to build skills in modern analytics, data products, and AI-enabled solutions.

30% Governance & Value Realization

  • Establish and enforce governance for CRM analytics, including metric standardization, data quality controls, and access management.
  • Ensure alignment with corporate Data Governance and AI Governance requirements for all analytics assets.
  • Embed value tracking into the analytics portfolio by defining business cases, adoption KPIs, and continuous optimization loops.
  • Manage the lifecycle of analytics assets to ensure relevance, accuracy, and efficiency.

What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data & Analytics, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of professional experience in CRM analytics, business intelligence, customer data, and data product leadership.
  • 5+ years of people leadership experience, including managing international and multi-disciplinary teams within a matrix organization.
  • Strong expertise in CRM Analytics and customer data management.
  • Hands-on experience with Business Intelligence platforms such as Power BI and Tableau.
  • Strong knowledge of data modeling and modern data product frameworks.
  • Experience in AI-enabled analytics and enterprise AI use case delivery.
  • Strong SQL capabilities and experience in enterprise-scale analytics environments.
  • Deep understanding of data governance, metric standardization, and data quality frameworks.
  • Proven leadership capabilities in building, mentoring, and scaling analytics teams.
  • Strong stakeholder management and strategic planning skills.
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies.
  • Strong business acumen with knowledge of sales, service, and marketing processes.
