This request is for the replacement of a Data Scientist position within the Operational Performance & Data Analytics team to ensure business continuity. The role is essential for meeting the increasing demand for advanced analytics and supporting the team's delivery commitments within the Onshore Wind Power division. To address these needs, this role focuses on three core areas: Data Engineering & Automation for building robust data foundations, Advanced Analytics & Modeling to extract actionable insights, and Business Intelligence & Solution Delivery to provide end-to-end data products for business stakeholders. Given the focus on full-cycle product ownership, the ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in programming (Python, SQL), data engineering, and the Microsoft Azure environment, coupled with experience in building and deploying business intelligence solutions and analytical applications.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Ensure business continuity by replacing an existing Data Scientist position within the Operational Performance & Data Analytics team in the Onshore Wind Power division.
• Meet growing demand for advanced analytics and support delivery commitments by focusing on Data Engineering & Automation, Advanced Analytics & Modeling, and Business Intelligence & Solution Delivery.
• Build robust data foundations through data engineering, automation, and infrastructure optimization within the Microsoft Azure environment.
• Extract actionable insights via statistical analysis, machine learning, and predictive modeling to support operational performance and portfolio management.
• Deliver end to end data products by designing business intelligence solutions that translate complex analytics into clear recommendations for stakeholders.
• Possess strong technical expertise in programming (Python, SQL), Microsoft Azure, and BI tools, combined with experience in deploying analytical applications in a global business context.


What You Bring  

• Develop, maintain, and optimize Azure based data pipelines and automate workflows to ensure efficiency, solution reliability, and data integrity.
• Apply statistical analysis and machine learning to identify trends and patterns, developing predictive models for decision making and forecasting.
• Research and integrate emerging data science techniques into operational performance analytics to enhance portfolio management and business outcomes.
• Design, build, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, managing the complete lifecycle of analytical applications.
• Translate complex datasets and model outputs into concise, actionable recommendations that meet stakeholder requirements across the business.
• Hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative field, with 2–5 years’ experience in end to end cloud based data product development, preferably in Microsoft Azure, and expertise in programming, BI, automation, machine learning, and predictive modeling.
