The position, based in Malaysia, is critical for maintaining the integrity of global financial master data (customer, vendor, bank) which underpins accounting and operational processes across the organization. To achieve this, the role is structured around three core areas: Master Data Lifecycle Management, Data Governance & Quality Assurance, and Process Improvement & Project Coordination. These areas cover the day-to-day data maintenance, the enhancement of data quality processes, and collaboration with IT on system stability and automation projects. Given the focus on data integrity and process management, the ideal candidate will have significant experience in financial master data, proficiency in SAP and MS Excel, and a strong understanding of internal controls. Project management skills and the ability to work independently on complex data issues are essential for this Senior Professional level role.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• The creation, maintenance, blocking and monitoring of customer and vendor master data are part of your central tasks
• You will use an intranet tool to process request supporting our internal departments (e.g., Purchasing or Sales departments)
• Within your day-to-day activities you will manage and maintain worldwide bank master data like account numbers, bank identifiers etc. on a regular basis and clarify identified shortcomings independently. Doing so, you will define technical requirements and coordinate the implementation with IT to stabilize our systems used
• Ensuring completeness and up-to-datedness of master data is part of your tasks as well as the equivalent reconciliation and coordination with other Corporate Master Data (CMD) functions
• You will create comprehensive evaluations and assist in our digitalization & automation activities
• You take care of the monthly updates of the internal master data
• In addition, you will manage projects and be responsible for the proper implementation of internal controls and the creation of guidelines.
• As you work in a team of experienced and knowledgeable people, you will contribute to the team with your communicative and open manner, pick up on existing processes and develop them further

What You Bring

• Completed commercial apprenticeship and initial relevant professional experience
• Sound of solid SAP as well as very good knowledge of MS-Excel (incl. macros). SQL knowledge is a plus.
• Fluent English language skills, whereby you can lead and or participate discussions without any problems
• Enthusiasm for dealing with financial master data having a good understanding and knowledge of the meaning of Financial Master Data within organizations
• Strong team player being a convinced service orientated person
