A Snapshot of Your Day

As an Equipment Lead Engineer, you will

Work with a team of skilled Equipment Engineers to ensure the reliable operation of our offshore wind turbine installation equipment.
Participate in troubleshooting and root cause analysis, define corrective actions, and implement solutions for deviations.
Manage NCRs and ensure ECN (Engineering Change Notes) implementation on existing equipment (documentation updates, drawings, BOM, tests, certificates.
Collaborate with operational construction teams in installation projects by proving technical support to the equipment used in BU Offshore Execution projects and production facilities.
Represent the department in FAT and SAT tests.
Gather lessons learned and ensure their implementation in future equipment developments. 

How You’ll Make an Impact

Providing technical support to transport, lifting, and installation equipment, used across business units, from Offshore Execution to main wind turbine component production.
Maximizing equipment uptime through early involvement in the design of new equipment (specifications review, FMEA and translation of equipment failure modes into design requirements, follow up tests and validation activities, etc).
Supporting quality management activities by conducting root cause analyses, defining corrective actions, and implementing solutions for deviations and non-conformance cases.
Participating in quality reviews from our Offshore Engineering Development Process (OEDP)
Supporting the implementation of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) practices, namely the “Early Engagement” and “Safety, health and Environment) pillars.
Contributing to the improvement of our equipment rental business
Managing the technical aspects of the Equipment Life Cycle, after the new equipment development is concluded and supporting Service.

What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
At least 3 years of experience in technical operational management, preferably in the wind industry or a similar large-scale manufacturing environment.
Experience with equipment design including FAT and SAT, product development or equipment maintenance.
Experience with root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies.
Experience with NX, SAP and Teamcenter is an advantage
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and effectively communicate technical information
