Siemens Energy is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive product knowledge of Large Electrical Generators and Exciters and will play a crucial role in optimizing our production processes.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • ·         Develop and create Production Orders in SAP for the factory workforce, ensuring clarity and accuracy in work sequences.
  • ·         Specify and indicate associated standard manhours for each Production Order to provide the reference and align with cost model.
  • ·         Attach order-specific drawings issued by Engineering for each project to communicate the design requirements and specifications.
  • ·         Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineers to incorporate Generator Method Sheets (GMS) with manufacturing-specific instructions into Production orders.
  • ·         Work closely with Quality Engineers to integrate Quality Control Inspections (QCI) into the production process, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • ·         Continuously analyze and improve production processes and associated work instructions to enhance operational efficiency and reduce waste.

What You Bring

  • ·         Strong knowledge of Large Electrical Generators and Exciters with 3-6 years of experience in Large generators.
  • ·         Proficiency in SAP and other relevant engineering software, especially with the transactions related to Production Orders and Engineering Product Definition (Drawings, BOMs, and MMs).
  • ·         Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or a related field.
  • ·         Proven experience in industrial engineering, preferably in the manufacturing sector.
  • ·         Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • ·         Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
