Our team is looking for an enthusiastic and hardworking Electrical Maintenance Technician, that will drive us forward on our O&M venture.

How You’ll Make an Impact / Responsibilities

• Perform works at the power plant with various HV equipment, such as generators, transformers, motors, turbines, and high-pressure vessels, such as boiler tubes, condensers and compressors

• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance tasks on electrical equipment according to the work plan

• Assist Electrical Maintenance Engineer for inspection, testing, troubleshooting and repair work on malfunctioning or faulty electrical equipment or systems

• Support the maintenance team in inspection, installation, troubleshooting and repair of the power plant equipment according to safety and maintenance procedures to ensure the power plant availability

• Complete any tasks as identified by Lead Technicians or Engineers

• Ensure high quality of workmanship

• Report faults and defects discovered

• Follow internal processes and procedures

• Identify tools and materials required for work

• Ensure own safety and safety of others by strictly complying with plant safety regulations or EHS procedures, and policies

• Protect the environment by reducing hazardous waste and avoiding unnecessary spillages

• Continuously improve technical knowledge by attending training courses and practical training provided

• Abide by and comply with the Company Code of Ethics and Business Conduct Guidelines

• Act in a professional and polite manner to liaise with team members, operations teams, and contractors

The O&M Maintenance Team at New Capital Power Plant has been established and designed to achieve all Siemens Energy goals during Operation and Maintenance 8 years contract with the client EEHC, Egypt.
