A Snapshot of Your Day

  • You will own an Engineering and Designer department for our Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls scope of work of customer orders
  • This outstanding position will work with the Head of Engineering Projects Europe, providing direct access to global leaders in Engineering, Sales & Proposals, and Product Lines.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Plan, budget, and assign department resources according to CSY Management priorities
  • Contribute to generic scope of delivery documentation regarding control-systems.
  • Innovate, creatively apply lessons learned, and implement cost-effective solutions for COMOS PT development, requirements management, that prevent non-conformances during Project Execution.
  • Support measures that yield year-on-year Engineering cost-productivity benefits in both Proposal and Project Execution phases.
  • Work and coordinate Control Systems detail Engineering across multiple engineering platforms and locations and deliver documentation for a project.
  • Motivate, assess competencies and talents, train, and progress the careers of our Controls Detail Engineers.
  • Develop selected talents towards Lead Engineering in the area of Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls Engineering

What You Bring

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in an Engineering field, Master of Engineering (Electronics & Electrical Communication) or related field.
  • Proven knowledge of Turbo Machinery Engineering processes, business software, and technology for Control Systems.
  • 10+ years of experience in Rotating Equipment for Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, and other Process Industry applications, achieved through working on Industrial Applications Products in Controls and Instrumentation Engineering.
  • 5+ years of team management experience, either by managing a direct-reporting functional department, or leading project-based engineering teams
  • Peer-recognized for solving complex problems, developing new and improving business processes, demonstrating high professional judgement in ambiguous circumstances, and coordinating technical work from across a global-matrixed organization.
  • Practiced in the application of control systems for Turbo Machinery products. Application experience with objects-oriented Engineering Software e.g., COMOS PT.
  • Cost out and development experience for control systems and panels, including related Engineering cost.
