A Snapshot of Your Day

Join us and take the lead in shaping safe, responsible operations across onshore wind turbine service and project sites in Finland. You start your day partnering closely with Operation Managers and site teams, defining clear EHS arrangements and making sure expectations are understood and lived on site. You move confidently between office-based planning and hands-on site presence, monitoring performance, coaching teams, and strengthening a proactive EHS culture. Every action you take helps protect people, supports reliable project delivery, and drives the energy transition forward.

How You’ll Make an Impact

  • You lead and define EHS arrangements for service and project sites, ensuring clear communication to management and site execution teams.
  • You monitor and report on the implementation of the EHS Plan, EHS Management System, and site EHS performance, including KPI follow-up and action plans.
  • You coach, mentor, and guide site teams and EHS personnel, acting as a visible role model and fostering a proactive, guidance-based EHS culture.
  • You ensure compliance with customer contract requirements (where applicable), local legislation, and Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy EHS standards.
  • You investigate incidents, ensure corrective actions are defined and implemented, and support Operation Managers in EHS-related customer communication.

What You Bring

  • You have 3–5 years of experience as an EHS Advisor, Occupational Health & Safety Manager, or EHS manager role, ideally within renewables, electricity distribution, oil and gas, construction, government authorities, or another highly regulated industry.
  • You bring solid knowledge of international and local/national EHS regulations; experience working with Finnish work environment legislation and a strong understanding of Finnish EHS legislation are considered an advantage.
  • You are physically fit, as the role involves climbing while monitoring work teams in wind turbines, and you have experience with incident investigations and reporting to the authorities.
  • You communicate confidently in both English and Finnish and feel comfortable engaging at all levels of the organization.
  • You have a flair for IT, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work in a structured, process-driven environment.
  • You hold a valid driver’s license and are willing to travel mainly within Finland and occasionally to Sweden.

About the Team

Our team is dedicated to supporting the safe and efficient operation of Onshore wind turbine sites across Finland. You will report to the Head of EHS Nordics and Baltics and be part of the regional organization covering Sweden, Finland, and the Baltics. The team works closely with Operation Managers and site teams to ensure strong EHS performance across service and project activities. You will collaborate across functions and cultures, supporting both management and on-site execution. The role is based at the Espoo Helsinki office, with the flexibility to work remotely if you live elsewhere. Normal office hours apply, combined with regular site presence to stay close to operations.
