A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Cybersecurity Officer, you will address a wide range of cybersecurity support requests from various teams and individuals throughout the organization. Your efforts will help advance business activities, promote organizational cybersecurity awareness and adherence to cybersecurity policies and mandates. Additionally, you will play a key role in developing internal cybersecurity capabilities and encouraging communities that proactively improve the organization’s overall cybersecurity posture.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Ensure compliance: Oversee and drive adherence to cybersecurity policies and mandates across the organization.
- Provide Guidance: Offer guidance to non-senior management and cybersecurity communities regarding cybersecurity policies, core cybersecurity processes, and other aspects of cybersecurity standard methodologies and strategies.
- Promote Cybersecurity Objectives: Advance cybersecurity initiatives and objectives within local communities to improve overall security awareness.
- Assess and Deliver: Understand the cybersecurity needs of the SE business and ensure effective delivery of cybersecurity solutions.
- Foster Cyber Security Ambassadors: Build, maintain, and support communities of Cyber Security Ambassadors to promote cybersecurity awareness and practices.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Participate in select sub-teams within Siemens Energy’s Cybersecurity team and other business areas to support and improve cybersecurity functions.
What You Bring
- Educational Foundation: A university degree or equivalent experience in information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field is essential for success in this role.
- Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in enterprise-level cybersecurity and/or information technology is required, with a proven track record across various functions and industries.
- Intercultural Awareness: Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional, multinational teams.
- Strong personal drive, prioritizing quality and achieving results, and the capability to influence and involve collaborators to back cybersecurity objectives and efforts.
- Communication Skills: Fluency in business English is required, along with proficiency in local languages. The ability to communicate technical concepts in business terms is essential for supporting international business activities.
- Compliance Oversight: Proven ability to oversee and drive adherence to cybersecurity policies and processes, ensuring alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements
