A Snapshot of Your Day

As a Commercial Project Manager you will play a key role in driving the successful execution of offshore projects by overseeing all commercial aspects from planning through completion. In close collaboration with the overall Project Manager, you will ensure full alignment with contractual obligations, financial targets, and compliance requirements. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and international environment, interacting across multiple interfaces and contributing to the continuous improvement of project execution processes, structures, and tools.

How You’ll Make an Impact

• Takeover of the project planning and execution according to the end customer contract in close cooperation with the overall project manager.
• Clarification of all commercial project issues, adjustment of project milestones and management of preventive or corrective measures (if necessary) involving all interfaces
• Responsibility for commercial project management (offshore), including controlling and reporting in accordance with the relevant regulations and processes, such as e.g. EAC, NCC/CCM, budget & forecast, project discussions, ICFR, postings, allocations and accounting, cost escalation, risk management and compliance, claim management, taxes, insurance and the general follow-up of project topics
• Fulfillment of the WPC role, including all duties related to the offshore and onshore portions. Support and management of local commercial project management (onshore)
• Maintaining the relationship with the end customer and presenting commercial issues in meetings and negotiations. Calculation and processing of contract changes according to the rules, specifications and processes
• Definition and further development of project execution structures. Continuous improvement of relevant processes, procedures and tools.
  

What You Bring

• Openness and motivation to support and shape the further development of the new business area (green hydrogen).
• Already CPM experience in international project business and project management, including relevant interfaces within complex processing structures and matrix organizations
• Well-founded knowledge in the area of project controlling and project reporting including corresponding standards and processes (PM@SE, IFRS, HGB etc.)
• Safe handling of MS Office applications and affinity to digital innovations in the area of project controlling and reporting, SAP is a must 
• English knowledge, any additional language is a plus 
• Customer, result and quality orientation and motivation, as well as personal initiative
