A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Commercial Project Manager (CPM) for Controls and Digitalization, you will target experienced professionals with a strong background in project management and financial analysis. You will engage in meaningful projects, such as first-time implementations for high-profile clients like SWA, SEC, and Aramco, directly impacting client satisfaction and Siemens Energy’s mission to deliver innovative digital solutions. Expect a collaborative team culture that values communication, continuous improvement, and the successful execution of projects in a dynamic environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Lead and manage the commercial aspects of projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Monitor project financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, while ensuring timely invoicing and financial reporting.
- Identify and mitigate project risks, developing and implementing effective risk management strategies.
- Maintain effective communication with clients, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, providing regular project status updates.
- Review and negotiate project contracts to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, managing changes and disputes effectively.
- Ensure adherence to Siemens Energy’s Internal Control Systems and engage in internal and external audits.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration; a master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., PMP, CPM) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial project management.
- Strong understanding of project management methodologies, financial analysis, and contract management.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to interpret financial data.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
About the Team
Our Gas Services division offers low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. We provide zero or low-emission power generation and manage all gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators. Decarbonization opportunities are available through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
