A Snapshot of Your Day (position overview)
In this role, you will act as a key leader within the Commercial Project Management function for Gas Services in Latin America, ensuring the financial and commercial performance of Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSAs). You will manage daily interactions with regional teams across Peru, Brazil, Chile, and Colombia, overseeing contract execution, financial planning, and risk management. Your day will involve analyzing project performance, reviewing forecasts, and supporting strategic decision-making to drive profitability and operational stability. You will also collaborate closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure compliance, address commercial challenges, and deliver successful project outcomes.
How You’ll Make an Impact
This position is a replacement to ensure business continuity in the Commercial Project Management function for Gas Services in Latin America. As a Manager (M3), this role is responsible for the commercial and financial oversight of Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSAs) across Peru, Brazil, Chile, and Colombia, directly supporting the region's profitability and operational stability. To achieve these objectives, this role focuses on three core areas: the end-to-end commercial management of LTSAs, rigorous financial planning and controlling, and proactive risk and compliance management. This structure ensures that long-term contracts are executed profitably, transparently, and in accordance with all financial regulations and company policies. Given the focus on managing complex service agreements, the ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in commercial project management or project controlling within a project-based industry. Essential requirements include proven leadership capabilities, strong financial analysis and forecasting skills, and a deep understanding of contract management and internal controls, preferably with experience in SAP.
How You’ll Make an Impact
• End-to-end commercial management of Long-Term Service Agreements (LTSA) leading a team of CPMs ensuring profitable and compliant execution across lifecycle.
• Manage contract financials including invoicing, accounts receivable, and cash flow to optimize project liquidity and performance.
• Drive contract negotiations, change orders, and claims in collaboration with technical and legal teams.
• Develop and maintain project budgets, forecasts, and cost-to-complete analyses to support accurate financial planning.
• Provide financial insights, reporting, and actionable recommendations to senior management on performance and risks.
• Identify, mitigate, and monitor commercial and financial risks while ensuring compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
What You Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in commercial project management, project controlling, or financial management in industrial or energy sectors.
• Proven experience managing long-term service agreements or complex project financials.
• Strong leadership capability with experience managing teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
• Advanced financial analysis, forecasting, and budgeting skills with strong understanding of corporate finance principles.
• Experience with contract management, internal controls, risk management, and SAP applications.
