A Snapshot of your Day:

You will be part of the SE FIN GT GS PK&IR team where you will support commercial project management in all aspects. This would include being responsible for the projects commercial/financial related matters, including but not limited to handling accounting, legal, tax and Export Compliance and Control (ECC) topics. You would ensure compliance of applicable regulations during the project execution phase. The Commercial officer would support the respective Commercial Project Manager(s) in other areas with the objective of executing the project in accordance with defined Project Excellence guidelines/standards, customer requirements and the applicable Financial Reporting Guidelines (FRG). A professional collaboration between the CPM and the Project Manager is key for the overall project success.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Support project management by handling data analysis, reporting, and documentation, coordinating with logistics for shipping and recording the revenue.
  • Verification & processing of vendors' invoices (both local and foreign) and ensuring vendors are being paid on time.
  • Preparing and submitting Payment Claims to the Customers as per the terms/milestones of the contract.
  • Creating Sales Orders in system (SAP) and perform timely billings to create adequate receivables in the system.
  • Ensuring that receipts from customers are adequately set off with the system's (SAP) receivable.
  • Assisting the managers to prepare the additional cost claims as per the terms of the contract.
  • Close monitoring of the project costs in system (SAP) to ensure all costs are charged adequately, in case costs are erroneously charged, timely processing of journal vouchers (JV) to transfer the costs to its respective project.
  • Supervise to Perform Service entry sheets, Goods receipt notes, Purchase requisitions in system (SAP) once pre-conditions are met.
  • Designing the Commercial terms & conditions of the Purchase orders which are placed to the vendors and assisting the managers for timely preparation and issuance of the Purchase orders.
  • Support the CPM that the financial results according to set targets are managed with due professional care and optimizes the project gross profit, cash flow and assets and financing instruments
  • Ensure the accuracy of project books and records, including recording of such in the appropriate systems, e.g. SAP - ensures compliance with Siemens Energy -FRG plus the local GAAP requirements. Ensure all related Project Reporting and Controlling activities
  • Support the CPM in identifying, evaluating and assessing risk and opportunities, strategies and response activities - taking over the full responsibility in this regard with respect to all commercial risks and opportunities.
What You Bring
  • Business Administration/ Finance qualification, professional qualification is an asset
  • 2-3 years' experience in projects/accounting.
  • Previous experience of a turnkey/EPC solution business is an asset
  • Attention to quality, committed to delivering high-quality results, ensuring accuracy and precision in all project-related tasks.
  • An analytical mindset, capable of analyzing complex data, identifying patterns, and deriving insights to support decision-making and project control
  • Continuous learning, motivated by personal growth, seeking opportunities to enhance knowledge and develop new skills in project management.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively

  • Advanced Knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Power Point), SAP
