A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Cash and Bank Analyst at Siemens Energy, your day will involve supporting daily operations by managing cash transactions and ensuring accurate month-end closing activities in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP standards. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to address accounting issues, perform bank reconciliations, ensure the right exchange rates posting, monitoring and supporting payments process, attending audits and others related to banks. Your role will also include validating bank statement imports, investigate payment rejections, and participating in process improvement initiatives, all while fostering strong partnerships within the finance community. Embracing a mindset of continuous learning and feedback will be key to your personal and professional growth in this dynamic environment.
How You’ll Make an Impact
As a detail oriented, actively committed and involved Cash and Banks Analyst you will be responsible for:
- Validate timely and error-free bank statement imports/uploads in SAP, both automatic and manual.
- Perform timely bank account reconciliations and follow up on aged items with relevant parties.
- Reconcile account balances between SAP and the bank interface.
- Execute special booking transactions, including overpayments and tax-related entries.
- Create journals for internal and external bank accounts, ensuring correct exchange rate postings.
- Support payment processes, clear interim bank accounts, and perform month-end cash and bank activities, including audits.
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, accounting or related field, or relevant work experience in Cash and Banks accounting.
- Preferably 2-4 years of experience in Cash and Banks accounting or Finance Operations.
- Basic knowledge of IFRS and GAAP accounting standards
- Proficient in MS-Office, particularly MS-Excel.
- Good understanding of business processes in SAP.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Will be a plus: Power BI, Data Analysis knowledge.

Operating from centers in the Americas, Europe, and Asia, the team delivers accounting solutions that support SE’s mission to energize society. Built on the foundations of people, processes, and technology, this division fosters continuous improvement and offers diverse opportunities for personal and professional growth. In this role, you will report to the Team Lead for General Ledger, Closing & Reporting, while also being part of both the local finance community and an international network of accounting professionals.
