A Snapshot of Your Day

Join us as an R&D Project Manager, where you will lead medium to large R&D projects that are pivotal in shaping the future of Siemens Energy’s products. Imagine guiding your multicultural, agile team from the initial concept all the way to sales release and validation. You will create clear plans, break them into actionable deliverables, and inspire your team to tackle technical challenges with innovative solutions.

In addition to managing individual projects, you will have the chance to engage in strategic portfolio management. This involves overseeing a group of initiatives, ensuring they align with our technology roadmap, prioritizing based on business value and feasibility, and identifying synergies to optimize resources. You’ll track portfolio performance against KPIs, transparently report progress and risks, and help shape the future project pipeline by evaluating emerging technologies and market needs.

Your day will be dynamic, involving alignment with multiple stakeholders across cultures and time zones, facilitating energizing workshops, and steering sub-project leads toward shared milestones. By applying a blend of agile and traditional project management methods, you will maintain strong momentum and deliver impactful results. How You’ll Make an Impact

  • Execute medium and major R&D projects within the Product Development Process (PDP).
  • Balance project constraints including scope, time, cost, and quality.
  • Plan project timelines, deliverables, and team responsibilities.
  • Manage risks effectively to ensure project success.
  • Foster resource management and team spirit to enhance collaboration.
  • Report on progress and proactively address challenges.
 

What You Bring

  • You possess knowledge and experience in Siemens Energy R&D Project Management (or are eager to learn).
  • You hold an MSc or BSc in Engineering.
  • You demonstrate strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • You are solution-oriented and flexible, with a strong drive to achieve defined project targets.
  • You have good English language skills; Swedish language skills are a plus.
  • A project management certification (e.g., PMP, IPMA, PM@Siemens) is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in Office 365 and project management software such as MSP, Planview, or Primavera.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators.
