A Snapshot of your Day

We are looking for a detail-driven and proactive Procurement Analyst to play a key role in our dynamic procurement team. In this role, you will take ownership of vendor onboarding, maintain accurate and up-to-date master data, and drive efficiency in RFQ and TSOR processes. You will manage purchase requisitions with precision, support special procurement initiatives, and serve as a vital communication link between our company and its vendors—ensuring smooth, timely, and cost-effective procurement operations.

How You’ll Make an Impact (Responsibilities of role)

  • Vendor Management & Onboarding: Ensure all required vendor documentation is submitted in compliance with Siemens Energy requirements; maintain effective communication with vendors and internal teams to support smooth procurement processes.
  • Sourcing & Negotiations: Identify and evaluate potential vendors, negotiate contracts, and build strong relationships to secure optimal terms and conditions.
  • Data & System Accuracy: Maintain accuracy and integrity of vendor master data across ASD, QT9, and SAP systems; manage and track Amazon orders, resolving any delivery or order issues promptly.
  • Procurement Process Support: Prepare and manage RFQs and Technical Specifications of Requirements (TSOR); accurately enter and process purchase requisitions for timely approval.
  • Process Improvement & Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve issues in vendor management and procurement processes; stay current on industry trends and best practices.
  • Collaboration & Flexibility: Team-oriented and customer-focused with strong time management, problem-solving, and analytical skills; willing to cross-train and perform other duties as needed to meet business objectives.

What You Bring (Candidate Requirements)

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in procurement, vendor management, or a similar role.
  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in procurement and data management systems (ASD, QT9, SAP, ARIBA) and Microsoft tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Power BI.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong ability to analyze data, identify issues, and develop effective solutions.
  • Collaboration & Communication: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in team environments.

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
