About the role

We are currently looking for a motivated and experienced technician to complete our
team of technicians. The successful candidate has a proven record of working within
complex environments and will have a background in offshore or maritime industries.
The role involves working in a 14 days on/off rotation. The port of embarkation is
Eemshaven and the windfarm is SOV operated. A successful candidate would be
expected to progress to troubleshooter within a realistic timeframe, and having
experience in troubleshooting or as a team lead would be preferred.
Upon a successful application, you would become part of a multi-cultural team with
vast experience within the wind industry. A good portion of our team has been working
on the Gemini windfarm since the start of the project, which is a direct result of the
great working atmosphere you will find within the team.

How you’ll make an impact :

• As a Service Technician you will perform scheduled maintenance, pre-defined
repair works and assistance in troubleshooting on our wind turbines.
• You will work on electrical, hydraulic and mechanical equipment and machinery.
• You will ensure compliance with Siemens Gamesa standards in relation to EHS,
Quality and Service delivery.
• You will assist the team in the completion of contractual extra scopes including
TMSE, crane and lift inspection and maintenance.
• You will provide accurate reporting into and utilization of work instructions,
isolation procedures, risk assessments, ATS database and other electronic
workflow systems.
• You will work with a variety of nationalities and experience levels in a 14-day
rotation while staying on a SOV and being transferred to turbines with CTV and
walk-to-work systems.

What you bring :

• You have at least an MBO-4 technical education or equivalent experience.
• You have experience in working at sea and in a rotation schedule.
• You have proven experience in working with electrical, mechanical and hydraulic
systems. Having experience with network or telecommunication systems would
be considered an advantage.
• You are flexible, analytical, quality-oriented and a team player.
• You are proficient in the English language both in writing and verbally.
• You live in the Netherlands or are willing to relocate to the Netherlands within 3
months.
