A Snapshot of Your Day
Join our team as a Manufacturing IT/OT Specialist and take charge of supporting cutting-edge Additive Manufacturing (AM) operations in Finspång. You’ll immerse yourself in a dynamic environment where you manage everything from 3D printers and OT devices to server infrastructure and local client applications. Each day, you’ll ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of our production systems, directly impacting our ability to deliver innovative manufacturing solutions. You’ll be the go-to expert for troubleshooting complex technical issues, driving improvements, and collaborating with engineers to keep our shop-floor running smoothly. How You’ll Make an Impact
- Provide hands-on support for IT and OT systems, including servers, network devices, 3D printers, and production machinery.
- Manage the full lifecycle of local client applications—install, configure, support, and oversee license management for the AM workshop.
- Administer Windows and Linux servers, performing routine maintenance, patching, and backups to ensure system reliability.
- Serve as the primary contact for the AM operations team, diagnosing and resolving complex IT/OT issues to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with external providers to configure network devices and maintain a secure, segmented manufacturing network.
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 5 years of IT systems administration experience, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial OT environment.
- Proven skills in server and network administration, system integration, and scripting.
- Strong troubleshooting abilities and experience working independently on complex technical challenges.
- Knowledge of disaster recovery, continuous improvement processes, and industrial cybersecurity.
About the Team
You’ll join a collaborative Digital Manufacturing Operations team dedicated to supporting and advancing our Additive Manufacturing workshop. The team’s mission is to ensure robust, secure, and efficient IT/OT systems that drive innovation and operational excellence. You’ll work closely with manufacturing engineers and external partners, sharing knowledge and developing solutions that enhance our shop-floor capabilities. Together, you’ll champion technology-driven process improvements and support a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
