A Snapshot of Your Day

Are you a proactive problem-solver who enjoys being part of a cheerful team with great collaboration and community working together on exciting tasks? If so, you could be our new Manufacturing Engineer Workshop Test.

As a Manufacturing Engineer Workshop Test, you will primarily support the packing operations. You’ll also collaborate closely with the colleague responsible for preparation for the test rigs and with the team preparing assembly work within the assembly and test organization at Norrmalm, Finspång.

The morning is scheduled for preparing the scope of test cables, ICM documentation, and ensuring that the instrument kit for the next workshop test will be in place with approved and calibrated instruments.

The afternoon includes a planned DDI (pre-sales) meeting regarding a potential future sale that needs to be analyzed from a preparation perspective, including whether there are new design solutions that require planning.

The day concludes with linking a new instruction to a standard activity in the checklist.

How you’ll make an impact

  • Streamline and improve processes within workshop testing.
  • Ensure all preparations are completed ahead of project reviews.
  • Take cost responsibility for the test rig process (Digibid).
  • Follow up on outcomes after completed workshop tests and propose sales options when needed.
  • Contribute to ongoing modification projects that affect the operation.
  • Collaborate closely with the Workshop Test Line Manager, Workshop Test Lead, the test-rig preparation specialist, and the assembly preparation team.

What you bring

  • An engineering background in operations, energy, electrical power, mechanical engineering, or control and automation.
  • Practical experience in commissioning or maintenance of large machines—preferably turbines—is an advantage, not a requirement.
  • Strong communication in English and preferably Swedish, plus experience with administrative tasks and good digital skills.
  • A structured, proactive approach to solving problems.
  • Resilience, clear communication, and a collaborative mindset—you enjoy working with others.
