- Develop technical concepts and documentation for SAS, auxiliary and secondary systems in HV Substations.
- Prepare technical content for offers and bids, including specifications and device selection aligned with customer requirements.
- Design Substation automation architectures, covering RTUs, HMIs, servers, gateways, SCADA, and communication and also network structures.
- Lead SAS engineering activities, including basic and detailed design, parametrization, programming, and creation of typical design documents.
- Support project execution, providing technical supervision on site, coordinating with customers and internal teams, and driving continuous improvement.
- Act as a technical interface to protection engineering, other departments and customers.
- University degree in electrical engineering, automation or a similar field
- Long term experience in working with Substation Automation Systems and devices for HV Substations applications including configuring and parametrizing/programming of HMI, SCADA, RTU, ethernet switches, etc.
- Proven experience in the field of power generation transmission and distribution, in preparation of customer‑specific technical documentation and system designs
- Deep knowledge of SAS systems and products (e.g. WinCC, ZENON, ZEE600, SICAM PAS, SICAM A8000) or similar, and understanding of substation communication networks and protocols (IEC 101, IEC 104, IEC 61850)
- Experience in configuration tools for SAS, visualisation systems and software
- Excellent English and good German language skills along with presentation skills enabling effective communication with customers in DACH region.
