A Snapshot of Your Day
We are looking for a Commercial Site Manager for our Project Manager Controlling & Finance Department. You will be reporting to the Commercial Project Manager and will be responsible for the commercial assessment of our Offshore Wind farms as well as standardization and optimization of tools and interfaces.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Representing the interests of the Commercial Project Manager on site with respect to site issues, local regulatory authorities, consultants, vendors and subcontractors.
- Acting as part of the site core management team advising on commercial issues and business partner to the Lead Site Manager and Construction Package Manager.
- Setting up control frameworks on site that supports good governance and finance practices that will ensure compliance with rules, regulations, laws and circulars.
- Updating cost forecasts on a monthly basis and supporting the CPM in their budget responsibility. Actively setting up processes and procedures to optimize site Assets (Tools, Spares etc.) and minimizing the impact on costs and cashflows. This includes all project phases incl. demobilization.
- Ensuring that Claim Management Procedures are set up on site and support the process aligned with Technical colleagues and Contract Implementation Manager
- Ensuring setup and reporting of the Package Scope Contractor file to support cost controlling and claim management
What You Bring
- Confirmed experience in Project and or Site Management with relevant commercial education
- Preferable experience in performing and coordinating commercial projects in a global organization.
- Strong in building relations and have a track record of achieving successfully completed large scale projects.
- As a person you are a team-player with the ability to work independently and possess strong English at negotiation level both written and spoken.
- The position may require travel time, therefore you should be flexible to travel when it will be needed - up to 25% of working time.
