A Snapshot of Your Day
In this dynamic role in Business Excellence, you will lead and coordinate rollout projects across clusters, ensuring successful implementation of template processes and localization requirements in close collaboration with the IT Cluster Manager. Each day involves managing timelines, resources, finances, and stakeholder engagement, while tracking progress and identifying risks. As the Business Cluster Manager for Gas Services, you will collaborate closely with executive leadership and foster strong relationships with leaders across the organization. You will oversee local rollout teams, drive readiness within Local Business Areas (AREs), and act as an ambassador for the Unity Program to promote S4E adoption.
How You’ll Make an Impact
Responsibilities:
- Project Delivery & Implementation – Ensure successful completion of rollout projects and implementation of template processes and localization requirements in collaboration with the IT Cluster Manager.
- Team Leadership & Coordination – Lead and coordinate local rollout teams within the cluster, managing resources, project budget, timelines, financial reports, risks, and stakeholder engagement.
- Rollout Preparation & Resource Planning – Plan and manage Local Business Rollout resources, ensuring timely initiation of rollout activities within Local Business Areas (AREs).
- Progress Tracking & Risk Mitigation – Monitor rollout progress in line with overall S4E rollout project plan, track progress against milestones and deliverables, report risks and issues to the Rollout Manager, and ensure mitigation strategies are identified and implemented.
- Stakeholder Engagement & Advocacy – Identify key stakeholders and promote adoption of S4E Template processes within the cluster as a Unity Program ambassador. Conduct status meeting to inform stakeholders about progress, risk, and issues across the cluster rollout. Bridge connection with local business area stakeholders and business area management to ensure project signoffs.
- Execution & Transition Support – Support detailed rollout planning, manage end-to-end localization implementation, and coordinate local teams for a smooth transition to the S4E platform.
What You Bring
- 10 + years of experience in project management, specifically in SAP S/4HANA implementations, with a high-level proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile preferred) and tools (e.g., Clarizen, Microsoft Office), to support project planning and reporting.
- Bachelors or master’s degree in engineering, Business, Technology Management or Digital Transformation with additional certifications a plus (ex. Lean, Project Management, etc.)
- 7+ years of Siemens Energy experience with a strong network in SE GS to serve as an intermediary among the business and information system / technology needs
- Effective skills in project management, change management, negotiations, simplification, agility, automation, and business transformation.
- Proficient in SAP, Salesforce, and the technical and global landscape of GS NA. Preferred experience in AI/ML, Tableau, Alteryx, Data Visualization, SharePoint, and proficiency in MS Office.
- Eager to learn and grow with strong analytical and organizational skills; excellent communication (verbal, written, presentation) to various teams and partners
- Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time both domestically and internationally.
- Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
